These eclipses happen on the Scorpio - Taurus lunar nodal axis. Todays partial solar eclipse happened at 2 deg. Scorpio at 6:49am EDT and was visible over most of Europe (this is affecting Europe most powerfully) and the next eclipse on Tues. 11/8, 6:02am EST is a total lunar eclipse in 16 deg. Taurus, visible from Asia, Australia, North America, parts of northern and eastern Europe, and most of South America. This is the BIG ONE and it will have elements of crisis and shocking revelation as well as benevolent breakthroughs and blessings. Just let Go! Adopting a "just let go" attitude based on radical trust and faith is the key to navigating this lunar cycle and the next 6 months until the next pair of eclipses on 4/20/23 & 5/5/23. Scorpio and Taurus are opposite signs in the Zodiac wheel and they set the theme for these eclipses since they happen in those signs. To understand what these signs mean in this context, let's take a look at this write up which I give to my astrology students - The Taurus – Scorpio Polarity is about Having (Taurus – values, resources, money, receptivity, magnetism, beauty, comfort, sensuality) and Letting Go (Scorpio – transformation, sex, death, regeneration, 6th sense, seeing beyond appearances, solving the mystery). When this polarity is in harmony, we have integrity in our values and attract what’s best for us (Taurus) and as we learn and grow, our values evolve (Taurus), and we can let go of what no longer serves (Scorpio). When this one is out of balance our lives become stagnant, self-indulgent, materialistic, greedy, stuck in our “comfort zone”, a hoarder (negative Taurus), or obsessive, compulsive, addicted, resentful, abusive, jealous (negative Scorpio). Taurus is an Earth sign and Scorpio is a Water sign (Water feeds Earth). We can see these themes playing out in the world as the old paradigm fiat money Babylonian elitist debt slavery financial system crashes and the new asset backed quantum financial system rises like a phoenix from the ashes into the new age multi polar non-hegemonic world. Taurus is about resources and values and we can also see the chaotic battle over control of energy resources that is currently raging - gas prices and inflation going through the roof because of the Biden administration's economic policies and shut down of domestic oil drilling, the NATO - Russia conflict and consequent attack on the gas pipeline, European self-sabotaging sanctions against Russia, etc.. The negative expression of Scorpio Taurus is as dark and nasty as can be - addiction, violence, trauma, crisis; these shadow aspects suppress and distort our most precious gifts which are contained in the other 2 fixed signs, the Leo - Aquarius polarity (Leo - creativity, play, spontaneity, romance affection, leadership. Aquarius - friendship, community, sharing, equality, uniqueness, freedom). The sexual aspect of Scorpio - Taurus is also being processed intensely now, with the huge global cleanup of human child and adult sex trafficking and the conflicting conservative vs. liberal agendas regarding abortion and LGBTQ. Organized crime is another shadow aspect of Scorpio - Taurus and many are now realizing how powerful the drug, black market weapons and human trafficking cartels are and how deeply compromised and complicit the old paradigm elites in government and banking are. On the more personal and spiritual level, the divine light codes that are pouring in through these eclipse portals are stirring up our deepest darkest shadows to be processed and loved back into the light. Trauma healing is an exploding field in the therapeutic professions now and the old paradigm psychiatric and psycho- therapy models are rapidly incorporating more holistic, naturopathic, plant medicine, mindfulness, vibrational energy healing modalities (like Reiki!) because they are better at healing the cause of the problem, rather than just managing and suppressing symptoms. . I'm seeing this in my own practice with recent new clients who are presenting childhood sexual trauma. The energies of my Angelic Liquid Light Healing® modality have proven to be very effective at helping clients heal these trauma imprints gradually, safely and gently. So much of the suffering in our world is sourced in the violation of inner child innocence! So let's continue to let go of what no longer serves, like the wonderful wise Tree People who gracefully let their leaves die in a blush of beautiful color as they fall to the ground and rot, becoming fertilizer for the Spring rebirth! After a candidate is chosen, they assist in teaching all 4 levels of training (Reiki Levels 1, 2, 3, and Master Teacher). Another aspect of the program is providing Reiki in a volunteer capacity at the free clinics I supervise. The program is tailored to the needs of the individual candidate.
