Dear Friends of La Garrigue and Languedoc wine tours,

The winter has arrived, the time of the year when you wonder if you need 2,3 or 4 layers of clothing to keep you warm. While we are all trying to figure it out the answer, one person find a solution!!!! To run off to a French island in the middle of Indian Ocean, so yes you all understand who I am talking about… Jean-Michel. Good for him. He and Karen deserve a long due holiday to say the least.
So, here am i, with my best pen in hand to write to you about what happened and what is coming around the corner.

November has been as busy as usual. Early this month, La Garrigue was selected by The Culture Trip as “The 10 Most Romantic Restaurants In Edinburgh”. I believe we must doing something right. The credit will be given to our hard working staff of course.
While the old man is away, by hearing the positive feedbacks from customer,I’m please that Matt and his team in the kitchen maintained the usual standards of La Garrigue, well done Chefs.
Also after Gabriel and Laurine, we are also very happy to welcome back Marc in the front of house team, it’s always a great feeling to see former employees coming back as if they didn’t have enough of us….haha, anyway welcome back Marc.

I didn’t realise December was so close until my wife, Weiwei, enjoyed her christmas shopping so much…with my credit card. I hope I am in for a treat…That reminds me that the Festive Lunch Menu and Festive Party Dinner Menu will be alive tomorrow. I hope you are as exciting as me because i just had a taste of what the chefs are preparing. Your taste bud don’t want to miss that. If you want to learn more about both festive menus, please click the link i shared below. Don’t forget to bookas we don’t want you to disappoint :)

Talking about 2017, I have another exiting news to share with you, especially for all the art lovers. After an interesting talk with Mr Andrew Walker early this month, Mr Walker agree to come up to La Garrigue to spend a week time to paint our front wall early next year…and of course we will be open as usual, which means you can enjoy a lovely French meal with a bottle of Languedoc wine while you are appreciating the lovely piece of art about Languedoc being created by a fine artist. I am sure that will be another special experience. For your information, here is a wee introduction about Mr Andrew Walker.

With numbers of emails for enquiries aboutLanguedoc Wine Tour in 2017, I can see Jean-Michel will be busy next year again. If you still have not made any plan for next year and want to surprise your loved one with a special trip in Languedoc contact us to save your space.

Before i go, of course i wish i can see you all before Christmas, if not, let me wish you all having a lovely festive season with your dear one, most importantly Keep Warm.
If you are kind enough, please help La Garrigue boosting our ratings on Tripadvisor and let more people know about us.

Merci! A bientôt,
Morgan
