We are looking forward to seeing all of you at Cascade Mountain to celebrate the end of an amazing season.

How are the points calculated?

At the upcoming Cascade race, there will be medals for race finishers and teams for the day; plus, medals for overall points leaders for each category and team.

Bonus points will only be applied to the overall leader calculation. We are counting a racer’s best 3 of the 4 races in determining overalls and will be giving 25 bonus points to those who completed all four races.

Volunteer today!

Please ask your parents and supporters to join the Race Crew and volunteer their time at a race this year. Helping with scoring, handing out water, course marshal and the popular "sweep" position - all are important and we need 50-60 people to make these races work.

Suggestion: If their son or daughter is racing, have them volunteer to help when their child is not racing. They can be a part of the excitement and still be able to watch their son or daughter race!

How to Sign Up:
1. Go to the Volunteer Page on the wisconsinmtb.org site.
2. Review the positions available.
3. Click on the VolunteerSpot Image.
4. You will be taken to a different website where you can sign up to volunteer!

Thank you - we appreciate your support!

We have received a number of different excellent news and television stories during the season.

Working with the media to help spread the word about the WI League is very important and can help with recruitment for your team!

At the upcoming race, we have learned that WKOW from Madison might be on site to film and possibly interview a few racers and coaches - exciting!

In addition, Wisconsin Public Radio has alerted us that they might be at the race as well!

Do you still need to get your Wilderness First Aid or CPR certification?

Reminder - as a Head Coach or Assistant Coach, it is a NICA requirement to have Wilderness First Aid and CPR certification.

UPCOMING CLASS: We are looking at offering a CPR and WFA training the weekend of November 15/16 at Trek Headquarters. The cost for both would be around $100.

Please email Kathy Mock, Co-Director for the WI League, if you are interested in attending or have further questions as we are trying to get a headcount.
