Happy New Year!

I'm looking forward to 2013 and all of the possibilities it holds, I hope you are too. My main goal, as always, is to bring creativity and hope to as many children experiencing homelessness in Massachusetts as I possibly can. I am proud to say that as of the December, we have given out 1,100 art packs to children since we began in 2009, and I look forward to seeing that number grow by leaps and bounds over the next year!

One thing I have learned over the past 3 years, is that sometimes even with possibilities and successes, we all have our share of challenges. This year our biggest challenge came early; we have found it necessary to cancel our Music-a-Thon 2013 fundraiser. We are so grateful for all of the past support at this event, and we hope to bring it back at some point in the future. We are, however, going to be scheduling more school and group visits to encourage and empower youth to help us change lives and have more community packing days coming up in the near future. We have no plans to lessen our goals to provide children with the tools to create, we are just discovering new ways to make it possible.
