Greetings from Spain.
Where it has been cloudy and a touch cool.. unlike Heatwave UK.
Last week I was in Crete, the island of the gods.. and I was giving you my crazy "Ancient Wisdom" theory. You can read it here.
Since then we have flown on the overnight back to Barcelona and down to Malaga.
The Costa's are crazy.. it's absolutely packed, beaches crammed, lobster bellies on show, nowhere to park, restaurants all fully booked.. Not really the best time to be here, except if you like a party.
Shortly I will be on a flight to Manchester, a few days in HQ in Sheffield then on to India where we have some serious and long overdue missions to fulfil. You are invited for the ride..
Meanwhile in Sheffield a new product is causing a stir.. the Tropical Paradise Coco Bath Bombs are practically our biggest ever launch and the take up as been amazing.
If you sell bathroom products I would suggest you give them ago. Watch them really create a splash in your shop. They are different because not only do the have coco butter and great fragrances but soap inside so the bath will also foam as well as fizz. And costing 85.5p each (after discount) we have a RRP of £3.25 but these could sell at £4.50 or more.. so a health fizzing margin :)
Let's talk about money.. dosh, cash, bottom line profits. Big juicy profit margins.. let's be honest every retailer likes a few high margin lines.. and if they are fast selling all the better.
Yes you need to compete.. so it's often hard to find that elusive product. At AW you will see we quote a RRP price on each product. That Recommended Retail Price, is of course just a guideline. Many retailers find they can get higher (sometimes much higher) prices.
