Night of 1000 Lights
Downtown Aiken is the place to be on Thursday, December 10th from 5pm-8pm. Experience luminaries lining the streets of downtown Aiken, as shops stay open late and offer holiday treats, drinks and music for a festive evening out. This is a free event. |
Christmas Crafts at the Farmers Market
Christmas crafts are coming to the Aiken County Farmers Markets for two very special Saturdays! Everyone loves local handmade gifts, so come find those beautiful presents and celebrate the amazing artisans of Aiken County the last two Saturdays before Santa comes, December 12th & 19th from 8:00 am-12:00 pm. While shopping enjoy warm bagels, Bavarian pretzels, and locally roasted coffee! |
Christmas in Hopelands
This walk through exhibit from December 13-23, 26 & 27 features over 1.5 miles of lighted pathways, with holiday displays beautifully illuminating Hopelands Gardens with over 100,000 twinkling lights. Each night, an outdoor concert or movie will be featured and Mrs. Claus or Santa will be there on select nights! Enjoy free hot chocolate and cookies as you delight in this holiday tradition.
Shuttle service is provided from Citizens Park from 5:45 - 9:00 p.m. |
Aiken Jaycees Christmas Parade
The 2015 Aiken Jaycees’ Christmas Parade will be held on December 13th at 2:00 pm in Downtown Aiken. This exciting parade features all things Aiken and all things Christmas... what could be better? The theme for this year is “Christmas Melodies.” |
Christmas at the Depot
Join us as we celebrate Christmas at the Depot! Santa and Mrs. Claus will arrive at the Depot in a grand way at 11 a.m. and remain there until 1:00 p.m. Enjoy crafts and festive Christmas music. Cookies and milk will be served. A model of The Polar Express will be raffled at 1 pm. This event is free for all children. Be sure to bring your camera! |
Aiken Civic Ballet Presents The Nutcracker
The Aiken Civic Ballet, South Carolina’s longest, continuously operating dance company, will perform the holiday classic, The Nutcracker. Join us for a night of wonder at the Etherredge Center on December 19th at 7:00 pm or December 20th at 2:00 pm. |
