Take a deep breath or just walk away. In the stress of the holiday season, we may find ourselves getting short with family members. If you sense you're about to lose it and say something you might regret, walk away and cool your jets.
It's never a happy ending if we lash out at the ones we love. That's not what the season is all about. Get good at recognizing your boiling point, and walk away when you're only at a simmer.
