Dr. Freecloud's Record Shoppe is now called Dr. Freecloud's Last Record Store Standing and we've been open for business at our new home for 2 months now. We've taken a long break from sending out a newsletter to you all, because the construction and overhaul of the new shop has taken up so much of our time. Also with 10 times the normal amount of used records we've been getting in has us sorting and pricing from open til close 7 days a week. We are 90% done with all the construction and all that's left is to hang a few more lights up, hang the speakers for the DJ booth and build our Rare Vinyl Wall, after that we are 100% complete. We now have time to update everyone on what's been going on which we just told you about and also all the great stuff planned and coming up here at the shop.

Here's the quick list of things coming up here at the shop:
1. Opening up all those boxes of brand new copies of old Majestic Distribution vinyl stock over 2,000 pieces). They are available starting today June 14.
2. Grand Re-Opening party of Dr. Freecloud's new shop is Saturday, July 28th. Details on the DJ lineup, food and drinks being served announced soon.
3. We took down our online store and are remodeling it for future re-launch.
4. Unveiling a 4,000 piece DJ record collection covering 1970's, 80's + 90's next week.
5. Live KUCI "Riders Of The Plastic Groove" remote radio broadcasts at Dr. Freecloud's will return sometime August 2018. Stay tuned for dates!
6. The "Vinyl & Beer Social" will return this August 2018, dates TBA.

We took some pictures showing what the new shop looks like on the inside. We thought it would be nice to show everyone how nice and full the new store location looks. After looking at some teaser pictures of our shop, you should come down and visit us. This our most grown up look ever out of all the different locations we've had our shop at. It won't be long til we start doing our free events and vinyl sales again. Once all the construction is fully complete, we will get right to it.

Since we moved we realized that this new location is way more busy than the last shopping center we were at so we have increased our new vinyl purchasing by more than double the amount. The demand is way up here so we have stepped it up to keep up with everyone's demands. Also important to mention is that the used vinyl arrivals have more than tripled in the amount of people selling to us and also in the volume (quantities) we've been picking up. If you've been by our shop recently you'll see mad stacks of boxes filled with used vinyl collections waiting to be opened up, sorted and priced. If you're a fan of crate digging and are looking for rare and hard to find records, you need to get over here and get your hands dirty.

Before we moved our shop at the beginning of this year we received over 2,000 records from an out of business record distributor called Majestic Distribution from Los Angeles. We were lucky enough to have someone bring by tons of boxes of brand new copies of 1990's to early 2000's 12" vinyl records and some LP's too. These records are brand new and have been in boxes about 15 years. What's in these boxes are primarily dance music 12" records covering several music genres like: House, Trance, Progressive, Tech House, Techno, Hardcore, Happy Hardcore, UK Hardhouse, Acid Techno, Drum N Bass and so much more.

We've opened all the boxes and they are all set up and ready now for digging and shopping. Grab your friends and come down and dig in to the boxes. If you live too far away to visit our shop, just call us or message us and we can look for certain music styles, record labels, artists or particular titles and ship them to you.
