Greetings Friends and Family,

Welcome to the pre-season! Our PitZone Registration software is open for business and all returning coaches/students have received an invitation to register.

If you are new to the league and have not yet received an invitation, please drop a line to info@newjerseymtb.org and we will get one sent out asap!

The next 6 weeks are an opportunity for our teams to get to know one another, check bikes, helmets and gear, do some fun rides and build team culture. Look for communication from your Head Coach and/or Team Director for team-specific dates.

We still have many Dirt Tour stops around the state. See below for the 411, including our super fun Try it Out rides! We hope you will join us for one or all of them.

Last but certainly not least, we have scheduled another "coaching essentials" course on Sunday, October 21st at Camp Edge. Our South Jersey coaches asked for a southern venue, and we are on it! There are already 19 coaches signed up, and registration will be open until the 20th. Get on it before we fill!

Cost for this course is considerably less than previous training sessions, and we have provided a discount code to all team directors in the region. Please take advantage of this opportunity, as we do not anticipate another course until after the new year. Reg Link here

The camp has also opened their doors for camping on Friday and Saturday to coincide with our training on Sunday, and the Shred the Edge race on Saturday. How cool is that??

As always, thank you for being a part of our community and helping to get #morekidsonbikes in New Jersey!

Best wishes,

Ken Seebeck
League Director

PS - Please take a moment to read the Shred-Girls spotlight posted below, and share it around our community. Emily's honesty is touching, and truly represents what we are trying to accomplish.

Have you read the incredibly well-done interview that our friend Molly Hurford posted with our very own CMS Trailblazer and real-life Shred Girl Emily Kane? Her story is tremendously inspiring and really highlights what we are accomplishing around the state (and country) with our program. Great work Molly and Emily!

Check out the interview here!
