Hello Laurel School Families!

I hope everyone was able to enjoy February vacation! We were able to spend some time cleaning after some of the challenging illnesses that have surfaced in the school. We continue our preventative procedures like hand washing at school and ask that all families remember to follow our 24-hour symptom free rule that decreases the spread of germs to the rest of the student body, faculty and other families.

I would also like to welcome a new faculty member to Laurel, Becky Budman. Becky has recently moved back to the Cape with her son Garrett and will be working with Miss Annie in the Toddler classroom. Becky is taking the place of Miss Marci who had to make the difficult decision to part from Laurel due to a health condition and we wish her all the best. We were so fortunate to have had a seamless transition for our toddlers and for Miss Marci as Becky was able to come on board so quickly!

This month is full of wonderful events so please be sure to check out the "Calendar Reminders"! Also, a big warm Thank You for all of the wonderful recent donations from families and to parent volunteer, Justine Coppenrath giving us the "boost" to go green!! We are so excited to have a working Greenhouse again and for an amazing afterschool program for our students!

Here's to a wonderful month of March! Stay well!
Best,
Amy
