An Important REMINDER

Ladies and Gentlemen - It happens only once per year. Hope to see you there TOMORROW!

Today & Tomorrow!

Just a reminder: Hundreds and hundreds of film and television producers and directors will be attending the 2013 Cine Gear Expo at Paramount Studios today and tomorrow.

Rock R at Cine Gear Expo - Sat. 06-07-09 (02)Cropped

I Will Be There Tomorrow at 11:00 AM

Hopefully you registered before the deadline to get FREE ADMISSION for both days! If not, you can still get in - Tickets, I believe, are $25 cash at the door, and should be well worth the cost. Tonight the event ends at 9:00 PM. Tomorrow's (Saturday's) hours are from 10:00 AM until 5:00 PM. I plan on arriving around 11:00 tomorrow morning and staying for about three hours. Please let me know if you will be joining us; I'm more than happy to introduce you to producers there. It's a once-a-year opportunity and I certainly hope you can make it.

The June Calendar Is Up

The June, 2013 calendar is up now . . . and LOTS more events will be added to it over the next few days.

Please Check it Often.

Hall of Fame Nomination Update

As many of our clients know, I have been nominated for the Lee Fields Gulf Coast Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame.

The final voting takes place in June and I should know the outcome by the end of the month. There is some great and deserving competition - including two legends I really admire - so, whatever the outcome, I'm honored. I'll let you know the decision as soon as I know.

Sunday's Event!

We are producing a seminar at noon Sunday.

As a result of our May 19 seminar, three actors were hired for principal or better roles in the upcoming "Tales of Frankenstein" feature film. This keeps happening because producers hire people they know and trust. Please attend as many events as you possibly can. The more you attend, the more familiar producers will become with you and the higher your odds are of getting more and more film and television work!

Sunday's Event at Noon

12:00 Noon Sunday at the Jeremiah Comey Studio, 12215 Ventura Blvd., #111, Studio City, CA 91604.

Again, hope to see you there!

Congratulations to my longtime friend and professional wrestling legend Khosrow Vaziri -- better known as The Iron Sheik. His celebrity-studded roast at the World-Famous Comedy Store sold out Wednesday night and they had to turn people away.

He's still going strong . . . AND starring in an amazing feature film now titled "Zero Dark Dirty." Story line: A rock `n'roll musician travels to Afghanistan to win the hearts and minds of its people . But the Taliban has other plans. Starring Corey Feldman (The Lost Boys, Stand By Me, The Goonies, Gremlins), Daniel Baldwin (Vampires), Alexander Loy (Charlie Wilson's War), Frank Stallone (Rocky I, II & III), Larry Thomas (Seinfeld's "Soup Nazi"), Mark Metcalf (Animal House) and '80s pro wrestler Khosrow Vaziri (WWF's "The Iron Sheik"). The film's soundtrack, composed by Paul D. Taylor, includes five original songs produced by Frank Stallone and a never-before-released song by Corey Feldman.

I've seen the film

I was invited to the world premiere (and red carpet) for this film when it was titled "The Adventures of Belvis Bash" I have a feeling it will have a new red carpet premiere under the new name. If you like extreme humor - there's nothing else like it anywhere! The sub-title is "THE MOST OFFENSIVE MANHUNT IN HISTORY"

Corey Feldman and I . . .

Corey Feldman and I spent some time discussing the movie (at a different red carpet event).

I think we're both looking forward to seeing it on the big screen again.

He did an amazing job in the film. I've been wanting some friends to see this film. Now maybe that will happen. :-)

Much more with the next newsletter . . .

We have a lot more to share with you - and will do so in the next newsletter.

I have been asked to be on the advisory board for a publically-traded production company. I have accepted. I hope to be able to give you details after the information is made public next month. Suffice it to say . . . it's a good thing. Anything that opens more doors for our actors is a very good thing!

Until next time, all the best!
