Hello from Big Love Activewear!

What a fantastic summer we have had as we head into Autumn, the days are getting slightly shorter and I noticed a wee chill in the air this morning. However, it's still fantastic weather to get out and keep active. We have a range of plus sized clothing to help you feel comfortable as you exercise. You see we're not just about selling, we want to motivate you to keep moving and don't give up on the daily walk or activity that you enjoy best.

“Motivation is what gets you started. Habit is what keeps you going”. Jim Ryan

This month's newsletter has a product review of one of our most comfortable shorts plus something to help keep you active and a delicious lunch recipe. Enjoy!

See you out there. Luen

POwer leg shorts

Have you seen the Big Attitude® Power Legs Shorts yet?

These are compression shorts, they are not too short in the leg but have a good high waist. These are tight fitting and meant to be that way. They are especially useful if you've have had a big weight loss or if you like to jog a little and some bits of you move at a different time...if you know what I mean!

The “A Big Attitude®” range uses quality fabrics with a high Lycra® content which are extremely beneficial when exercising.
A Big Attitude’s compression technology helps keep muscles warm while efficiently removing perspiration from the skin. The garments promote increased circulation by speeding up blood flow to muscles and removing waste like lactic acid and extra body fluids. This leads to faster recovery times after strenuous exercise.
Doctors and physical therapists recommend compression garments for such circulatory and vascular conditions as lymphedema, lipedema and edema. The products apply steady and manageable pressure to the muscles and veins in your legs, encouraging blood to flow up the leg by forcing weaker veins to work better.

Keeping Active - Have You Tried This?

Fancy doing something different on your next walk? Have you heard of Geo Caching?

Geocaching is described as a high-tech treasure hunt. The objective is to find a geocache, a waterproof container with a log book and perhaps some small items to exchange. The geocache creator hides the container in the outdoors, then posts details on a geocaching website.
To play, you use a geocaching website to select a cache you'd like to find. The website will list a description, some map coordinates and possibly cryptic instructions for locating the container.

This sure makes walking a bit more fun especially with children. It can also be addictive. To check it out head to http://www.geocaching.com to read the full details and give it a try.
