Seung Hoon Park ~ Textus

Two years ago I introduced the work of Seung Hoon Park from Seoul, South Korea to my audience with images from Milan, Rome and Florence that appeared to be woven strips of film. All of the images in fact had been altered by the artist and woven to replicate the look of a filmstrip, both horizontally and vertically with the end result appearing to be mosaic-like; and very detailed to resemble a patchwork quilt.

This project, "Textus" is on-going and Seung Hoon Park continues to explore the landscape as well as other cities around the world, including most recently Prague, Budapest, Vienna and Berlin.

As previously seen in this work, you can see the details in the complexity of the work and the magic he is able to create with his film-weaving.

Most of the photographs are produced in two sizes, 80x100cm and 120x150cm and both are printed in limited editions of 5 per size offering.
