2012 was an exciting year for the journal, as highlighted by:

• An increased Impact Factor of 2.473 as published in the 2011 Journal Citation Reports, Science Edition (Thomson Reuters 2012)

• Record number of submissions – as of November 27th, we had 235 submissions to the journal in 2012; over a 50% increase from 2011!

• Increase in visitors to - Recent stats from Google Analytics, Google’s web site traffic analysis application, have shown over a 70% increase in the number of visitors to the website over the past year

• Publication of the supplement Personalized Medicine in Metastatic NSCLC: A Canadian Perspective – articles from this supplement are among the top viewed this year by our readership

• Updated guidelines and journal sections to simplify the submission process for authors – visit our “Information for Authors” for more info

• Simplified peer review process by asking reviewers to complete web-based form
