Sustainable Management Workshop: April 10

The United South & Eastern Tribes (USET) has partnered with the US EPA, USDA, and the Indian Health Service (IHS) to present a workshop April 10 to highlight small system management concerns and to provide a valuable opportunity for improving small system operations. The workshop will held in conjunction with the 2013 Tribal Utility Summit, detailed below.

At the workshop you will:
* Learn about key areas of management effectiveness;
* Conduct a guided self assessment of your utility's management strengths and weaknesses; and
* Consider practices, tools, and measures for improving utility performance.

The next Tribal Utility Governance training event will be held concurrently at sites around Regions 6, 8 and 9 on April 24.

Topics at this second of three events will include Regulatory Compliance and Planning as well as O&M Responsibilities and Workforce Management. The Fort Yates, ND and Sparks, NV locations are already open for registration.
