Recruiting Veterans to the Water Industry

Work for Water has released a new document describing a new partnership that will help the water sector recruit veterans. "Prior military experience gives veterans an understanding of teamwork, discipline, and personal accountability that can make them excellent employees for these fields."

You can download the document to learn about the various mechanisms in place. Plus, tomorrow on the SmallWaterSupply.org blog we'll detail specific steps water and wastewater systems can take to help recruit veterans into the industry.

Need some CEUs this Fall?

Our event calendar on SmallWaterSupply.org is frequently updated with new workshops, training courses and certification events across the nation. These events are planned well into the future, so its not too early to be scoping out dates and times for training hours you might want to pick up this Fall. If you know of an event we accidentally missed, please let us know. If you know of a trainer or training organization that doesn't have their events on the web, they can submit their event with this form, we will gladly add it into our calendar.
