Triangle Nuclear Theory Seminar and TUNL Seminar Series There will be a joint TNT/TUNL Seminar event featuring Feng Yuan of the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory discussing "Nucleon Tomography" on Tuesday, December 13th at 3:30pm in Physics Building, Room 298.
The Annual Winter Solstice Celebration will be held on Friday, December 16th from 4:30-7:00PM in the French Family Science Center lobby. There will be food, drinks, socializing and fun! The event is a potluck; please bring a dish to share. The Department will provide drinks and some food but your contributions will make it more interesting and diverse. Please RSVP to Cristin Paul.
Condensed Matter Seminar Series The next fall 2011 event is Thursday, January 19th at 11:30AM in Physics Building, Room 298 with Dmitri Khveshchenko of UNC Chapel Hill's "Arrays of Josephson Junctions Between Unconventional Superconductors."
