You're receiving this email because we've connected in some way in the past and/or present. Maybe we worked on a project together or maybe you attended one of my events. Perhaps we met at a networking event, through a social network, or maybe aboard Oceanic Flight 815. Regardless of how we became acquainted, I hope this email finds you well.

I send about four emails a year to stay in touch and let my friends and colleagues know what Leyla at Lotus Marketing Services is up to. What I really want to talk to you about is my upcoming project, The FIJI Water Urban Hunt


On August 14th in Chicago, I am producing a scavenger hunt for social media enthusiasts, gurus, lovers, cupcakes, ninjas - whatever they prefer to call themselves. Sponsored by FIJI Water, the scavenger hunt is set up to embrace the social media power user and reward them, not only with a super-fun event, but also with prizes and a funtastic after-party. Don't worry, the after-party is co-sponsored by VeeV Vodka, so there will be more than water available. And, yes, you can come to the party even if you don't participate in the scavenger hunt.

FIJI Water Urban Hunt is now accepting applications from teams of two. The team captain is required to have a minimum number of social media friends or followers, because it's more fun to play with friends than it is to play alone. We are also looking for teams who engage their friends online, as well as people who like friendly competition, share ideas, and who support each other. We think teams comprised of individuals who meet this criteria will make it more fun for everyone.

On race day, teams will navigate through the great City of Chicago finding sponsor-driven items from a secret list. When teams arrive at the sponsored locations, they'll be expected to check-in on Foursquare and upload their findings to various social media networks. Along the way, teams will be challenged both mentally and physically. These challenges will be photographed and recorded on video, then uploaded and tweeted, leaving us with memories, forever saved, in the cache of your MacBook pro.
