To Our Beloved Noam community, This week, we had our first Noam Moetza (for lack of a better explanation, and not translation 'youth council') meetin

To Our Beloved Noam community,

This week, we had our first Noam Moetza (for lack of a better explanation, and not translation 'youth council') meeting and members discussed what role the Moetza will play this year in Noam. Excitingly, they have moved from monthly meetings to fortnightly. One of the first initiatives is a Sixth Form Tu B'shevat Seder! Also, we officially launched the work4noam scheme, so if you are or you know anyone who might be interested in movement work next year, tell them to apply! And of course, we are still accepting camp applications, so don't delay if you have not already sent in your applications. Excitingly, you can now view the Chanukah 2011 Norma in case you missed the paper version. Finally, thank you for voting to select the Noam Charity of the Year!

Be in touch and let us know if we are leaving out anything!

Noam Charity of the Year

SELECTED: Noam passed on Veida 2011 a motion stating: "Noam should have one primary external charity a year that it supports, has a relationship with and educates everyone in the movement about (on camp, year round through fundraising and social media) for Tikkun Olam. This charity will be voted on in a movement-wide referendum."

We have a WINNER!!! You have elected the New North London Asylum Seekers' Drop In Centre (ASDIC) as the Noam charity of the Year. But, will you help us? We want to do more than just donate money we raise from our fundraiser. We want to educate and act on the issues the Centre raises. We want to organise your year-group to go help for a day at the Centre - don't underestimate the power of people-power.

Now that we have selected ASDIC, we call on you to work with us! Contact with any creative ideas or plans.
