St. Andrew, the First-Called Disciple

Duccio Calling

All are invited to a service of Holy Communion on the feast day of St. Andrew, November 30th at 6 pm.

Sorry - the dinner which had been planned following the service is cancelled (because our son David is sick).

The Collect for the Feast of St. Andrew:

Almighty God, who didst give such grace unto thy holy Apostle Saint Andrew, that he readily obeyed the calling of thy Son Jesus Christ, and followed him without delay; Grant unto us all, that we, being called by thy holy Word, may forthwith give up ourselves obediently to fulfil thy holy commandments; through the same Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

A Note of Thanks!

A hearty "thank you" to all who participated in the "Shoebox Project" for Samaritan's Purse. Whether you donated items or financial support, packed, wrapped, stickered, rubber banded, or loaded the car, your willing hands made this effort a true joy. The boxes were delivered to our regional collection site (Bethel Church at Franklin Mills), and our official tally was 183 boxes! We ask your prayers that the Lord will use the boxes to bring children in difficult circumstances to Himself. Please stay tuned to find out (through our special bar-coded labels) in which countries our boxes landed!
