Nice to Meet You

Christopher Spear has been with TADL for more than 20 years. Through the years he has worked the circulation desk at the Sixth Street location, in the Sight and Sound department and currently he works in the Youth Services department at the Main Branch on Woodmere. He said he enjoyed all the departments but, "children and young people are the best as Peter Pan is one of my heros!"

Christopher and his wife have quite a menagerie of animal friends at home including 6 horses and their beloved Aussie and Corgi.

Swimming, kayaking, sailing, and scuba diving are some of Christopher's loves, but his favorite is surfing!

He says that over the years his greatest joy is interacting with and becoming friends with his co-workers and all the wonderful people that happen to be patrons of TADL.

Christopher, what are you reading?

"I am currently listening to the audio book, Robert Redford: the Biography by
Michael Feeney Callan and a great science fiction book, The Whisper by Emma Clayton and I'm rereading for the umpteenth time, To Live Forever by Jack Vance... my favorite author."
