July 2011 News - CARNAGE & CONSEQUENCES

Summer moves from Hot & Steamy to a somewhat more dangerous time filled with Carnage & Consequences -- the new anthology from the Gen Con Writer's Symposium. You'll find more info about that below, but that's not the only thing to get your pulse racing.

We're entering the heart of the convention season and what might be your best chance to see me in person. Check the Appearances section below for details. After that, you can see what's planned for the upcoming months in the Editorial Calendar.

Most exciting, for me at least, is next month's release -- just in time for Gen Con and Wizard World Chicago. There'll be more on that in the next newsletter, too, but you'll get a sneak peek here. (Did you figure it out from last month's hints?)

So, what are you waiting for? Let's dive right in!

TIME WAR:

SECOND FRONT

If you enjoyed "Time War" last year, you're sure to get a kick out of "Time War: Second Front" -- but, if you somehow missed the first story, don't worry, you can jump right aboard with this one! The tales complement each other, but each stands on its own as a rollicking good time.

TW:SF features Brion Wilde (pictured on the cover), the elf swordsman from Tournament of Death (the free online novel), Sigourney Saxon from Martian Knights, and the oft-mentioned but never-before-seen ultra-powerful wizard, Lian Fyre.

All this plus undead monsters, transforming robots, and an unholy Elder Goddess! What more could anyone ask?

Click here to buy Carnage & Consequences and start reading "Time War: Second Front" right away!

Still Here, Still Free!

I have a couple of awesome free stories still available online for those interested. If you haven't read 'em yet, why not check 'em out?

Here's the link to my FREE STORY about GIANT ANTS. Yes, giant ants.

Not to be outdone, "The Road to the Crown" is also still available -- and you can still set your own price. Here's the link to do that and buy it from Smashwords. And here's a link if you'd rather buy it from Kindle at the usual price ($1.49).

Plus, of course, Tournament of Death, the free online novel - www.tournamentofdeath.com. The next summer Olympics are only a year away. Think I'm crazy enough to try for Tournament of Death 2?

Frost Harrow Update

Frost Harrow is off and rolling again! I'm well into the latest draft (which I'm hoping will be the final one before editing), and the series bible is tipping in at close to 20,000 words!

I've started work on the cover for the next book in the series, Die with Me, and have designs for Ghouls percolating in my brain.

I want to rock the world of horror with these, and I hope you'll be along for the ride.

See the Editorial Calendar below for the latest on Frost Harrow scheduling.
