Refreshing February...

refresh

February in Northern Michigan has traditionally been one of the coldest and snowiest months of the year. While Betsie Bay Furniture has been closed to ‘refresh,’ Mother Nature as delivered a warmer and dryer than average winter. Perhaps Spring is right around the corner? Many people have been taking advantage of this lack of snow and unusually warm temperatures to walk along the Lake Michigan shoreline where the crystal clear water meets the sand while others are enjoying a trial hike in the woods.

We have also noticed this winter that many of our customers have been busy with remodeling projects or building new homes. Our design staff has been working diligently with customers to make final decisions on flooring, lighting, and kitchen and bath designs as well as furnishings.

Join Us to Support the Water Festival

water-festival

Betsie Bay Furniture, in partnership with the Benzie Community Water Council, is hosting an Open House fundraiser, Saturday, March 17th, from 4:30-6:30pm with local music, good eats and of course, good conversation. The newly renovated Betsie Bay Furniture storefront provides an opportunity for an intimate and cozy evening. Betsie Bay Furniture is proud to support the Second Annual Water Festival "Come Softly, Stand Firmly: Understanding the responsibilities of living in the most beautiful place in America." We couldn't agree more and hope you will join us in supporting this year's festival to be held April 14th in Frankfort.

Open on Saturday!

saturday2

Our opening date has been pushed back a few days to Saturday, February 18th. We want to thank everyone for being so patient with us during this time of refreshing our store! We have a new checkout counter that is a turn-of-the-century bar from Tennessee. Three vintage industrial pendants are suspended above it for lighting. There is a new wrapping station just next to the checkout desk where Jeff’s desk was located. The original maple floors have been refinished with a new coat of polyurethane. The design area has been enhanced and expanded to meet the growing demands in interior design.

Stop in and check out some of the new lighting, furnishings, and accessories that will be arriving over the next few months!

We look forward to seeing you!
