Dear Friends,

We invite you to join us at Baltimore Theater Project as we help launch BTP's 40th Anniversary Season!

Dance Box Theater will celebrate Theatre Project's original tradition as a free theater with a “Pass The Hat” performance of Affectations on opening night, Friday, September 16 @ 8pm!

That means for one night only, Theatre Project will literally PASS A HAT following the Friday night performance of Affectations and you can pay what you wish!

Come on out to Theatre Project - and bring your entourage! Let’s pack the house and send Theatre Project off to a fabulous 40th anniversary season!

Affectations was commissioned by the Kennedy Center as part of the 2010 Local Dance Commissioning Project. This dynamic, multi-media dance theater performance is created and performed by Dance Box Theater Co-Artistic Directors, Laura Schandelmeier & Stephen Clapp with Dance Artist Ilana Faye Silverstein and original music by James Harkins.

We have had an amazing 2010-2011 season with over 30 performances, including the premier of Affectations at the Kennedy Center Millennium Stage, a two-week engagement with Joe's Movement Emporium for Affectations and a home season at Dance Place for both The Loving Project: E-Race and Affectations.

If you were moved by your experiences with us, please consider nominating Dance Box Theater for a Metro Dance DC Award by visiting www.mdcda.org.

Here’s a quick run down of this season's past performances to jog your memory…
