CLUB HOURS AND DECEMBER CLOSURES

The Club will now close at 11pm on Friday and Saturday nights. We will re-test the longer hours in the Spring and monitor membership usage then.

The Club will be closed for Private Events on Saturday, December 8th and Thursday, December 13th and for staff holiday on Wednesday, December 26th.

BILLIARDS & GAMES NIGHT - Wednesday, December 19th 6:30pm to 10pm

Sharpen your cue sticks and join us for an evening for pool, cards, and board games! A variety of games will be provided, or bring your favorite from home!

Beer and wine by the glass will be $5 and selected appetizers will be 1/2 price.

Billiards & Games Night is held the 3rd Wednesday of month.

Victorian Christmas Dinner - Thursday, December 20th 6pm

Long a tradition at the Club, celebrate the holidays with friends and family in the Victorian splendor of the Club. Chef Larry will provide a special meals and of course there will be Christmas Carols.

Passed hors d’oeuvres at 6 PM, dinner to follow. Cost is $65, including tax and service.

The ever-humble Allan Kramer is our host.

ANNUAL EMPLOYEE HOLIDAY FUND

Our gracious staff is the backbone of our beloved Club and the Holiday Fund is the opportunity for the FULL membership to show its appreciation. Please give as generously as you can and return the form sent to you with your check or credit card instruction by December 17th so funds can be distributed at Victorian Christmas dinner on December 21st.

Beer Club meets every the second Thursday of month at 8:00 pm in the Board Room. On Hiatus until 2019

Book Club is changing when it meets - will now meet the first Friday of the month at 7pm in the Board Room. December selection includes to short stories by Ambrose Bierce The Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge and The Damned Thing. Next meeting is Thursday December 6th at 7pm

Artful Dodger Poetry Readings is held the last Sunday of the month. Offering poets an open mic. Next readings: Sunday, December 16th at 1pm.

Committee Meetings

All members are welcome to join the various committees of the club. Committees are where the work and planning for the Club is done. Service on the Committees also makes members eligible for election to the Board of Directors.

The Montauk Club offers its members reciprocal privileges to a number of clubs, many of which are outside of the United States. Club members wishing to avail themselves of these agreements need to obtain a letter of introduction to present to the reciprocal club for each visit. General Clubhouse Information
* A la carte dining is available on Wednesday through Saturday beginning at 6:00 pm, with the last order to the kitchen at 9:30 pm. The Club bar is open Wednesday through Saturday 5:30pm to 11pm with last call at 10:45 pm.

▪	Our traditional Sunday brunch is served 11:00-3:00 pm, with the last order to kitchen at 2:30 pm.

▪	Happy Hour is every Wednesday 5:30-7:00 pm. Drinks are half price.

▪	For special occasions – weddings, parties, meetings, etc. – members are, of course, invited and encouraged to make individual arrangements.
