If prescribed corrections are ignored, HSSF Humane Officers take the “step of last resort”: legal action. This can lead to rescuing the animals, rehabbing back to health, training, and adopting out. HSSF has no paid staff, but it has on-going expenses with rescued animals in its care, such as: veterinarians, medicines, farriers, boarding, special diets, re-training, transporting, etc.
From midnight tonight to midnight tomorrow, consider a donation to keep HSSF working for those who have no voice and for peace of mind in knowing animals have an important ally.
