RIDE FOR REFUGE FUNDRAISER - OCT. 1ST

A biking/walking fundraiser event called Ride for Refuge is happening October 1st in various cities all across Canada. The event supports a number of organizations aimed at fighting human trafficking, including one of our favourites, the Joy Smith Foundation.

LIFE PRAYER CHAIN - OCT. 2ND

October 2nd is the annual day of public witness for children killed by abortion and Campaign Life Coalition is holding a Life Prayer Chain. All you have to do is find the location nearest you (over 200 locations across Canada), show up for one hour, and stand and pray for the ending of abortion. You will be joining with others who, like you, are unashamed to be a public witness for the ending of abortion.

MISSION TRIP TO THE HEART OF CANADA - NOV. 20-26TH

MY Canada is currently accepting applications for our next delegation to Ottawa. Team members will receive training on how to impact our national leaders and meet with 70+ Members of Parliament and Senators to pray for them & share with them about issues they are passionate about.

If you are between the ages of 15-35, love Jesus and have a heart for Canada, we encourage you to request an application today! Applications are due by Oct. 7th (but space is limited and filling up quickly).

Cost is $795 (covers registration, supplies, hotel & food while in Ottawa) plus cost of travel to and from Ottawa.

HELP STOP ONTARIO GOVERNMENT CENSORSHIP

Since 2012, the Government of Ontario has forbidden the release of abortion-related records making it impossible for us to track abortion statistics in the province. ARPA Canada and pro-life blogger Pat Maloney are taking the Ontario government to court in February 2017 to challenge this censorship law.

The ARPA team is holding a 'Stop Censorship' Tour in January 2017 to bring awareness to the case and suggest how Ontarians can get involved to advocate for freedom of information.

The team is looking for help with hosting a tour stop in your region. If you are able to help with venue booking and area advertising for a tour stop in your city (at no cost to you), please contact the event coordinator by clicking here.

NHOP - TAKE A PRAYER TEAM TO THE NATIONAL HOUSE OF PRAYER

For over 12 years the Lord has used the National House
of Prayer in Ottawa to activate strategic prayer for Canada
and its leaders. NHOP is located right on the mission field in Ottawa to build a bridge between the Christian Church and the Government of Canada and to ensure a strong praying presence on Parliament Hill.

NHOP hosts prayer teams of all ages and denominations for one week periods to pray specifically for our Government and our leaders.
